World Autism Awareness Day was established on April 2 of each year by the “United Nations General Assembly” on “Resolution 62/139” and adopted on December 18, 2007, to inspire member states to take action in promoting awareness of people on the autism spectrum. This was done in response to the ongoing investigation and research into autism.
