Why was Richard Adolf Zsigmondy awarded Noble Prize in1925?Chemist Richard Adolf Zsigmondy was born in Austria. He won the chemistry Nobel Prize in 1925 “for his demonstration of the heterogeneous nature of colloid solutions and for the methods he used,” as well as for co-inventing the slit-ultramicroscope and other membrane filters. In honor of him, the moon’s Zsigmondy crater has his name.
